Beau Vandendolder, L.Ac.

Beau Vandendolder is a state licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist and herbalist with over ten years of clinical experience.  He received his Master’s degree in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon.  He has experience treating patients of all ages, backgrounds, and conditions with specialization in pediatrics, cancer care, fertility, women’s health, men’s health, pregnancy and post-partum care, chronic health issues, digestive health issues, autoimmune conditions, chronic pain conditions, injury, fibromyalgia, allergies, headaches, and mental-emotional conditions.  Beau has undergone advanced training in various styles of acupuncture and herbal medicine, shiatsu (acupressure massage), tui-na (a Chinese form of bodywork), sotai (a Japanese form of structural integration), Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis, moxibustion, and psychology of Chinese medicine.  Beau seeks to meet each person exactly where they are at in their journey towards health, healing and wholeness and provide effective treatment combined with patient education and lifestyle counseling.

Beau has taught yoga since 2001 and has completed diverse and advanced trainings in many schools of yoga.  Beau began teaching Qigong in 2008 and holds certifications to teach a variety of family forms through the Ling Gui Healing Qigong School.  Beau has studied yang style taijiquan since 2004.

In 2005 Beau received lay Zen Buddhist ordination through The Order of the Boundless Way and received lay ordination again in 2012 through The Zen Buddhist Order of Hsu Yun.  He teaches meditation and Buddhist and Daoist philosophy through classes, workshops, retreats, and private instruction.

In 2015 Beau completed three years of full-time Alexander Technique teacher training at The Oregon Center for the Alexander Technique and received certification from AmSAT (American Society of the Alexander Technique), and teaches the technique primarily through private lessons.
