Learn How to Relax Effortlessly

Where and how you relax after a long day or on vacation matters. I find myself most relaxed when I am in nature and near water. But true relaxation starts in the body. The body is the first location to consider when wanting to experience deep relaxation.

The best way to experience deep relaxation in the body is to meditate. Just taking the time to stop and sit begins the process. However, adding in other methods that take you deeper into relaxation is necessary to reach complete restoration and balance of your mind and body.

I know everyone’s lives are busy and it is hard to find time to just sit and be, but if you have time to scroll through social media on your lunch break or play with the apps on your phone during dinner, you have time to meditate.

I carve out time to meditate during my work day. I will take 10-20 minutes to meditate during my lunch break and then another 10-20 minutes before I head home for the day. It is easy to do once you carve out the time and start feeling the benefits that meditation provides—mental clarity, groundedness, calm and upliftment. I wouldn’t be able to make it through each day efficiently without meditation. Meditation is one of my keys to success.

A great way to experience true relaxation through meditation is at one of my retreats. Your body will discover what it feels like to completely relax from the inside out through the technique I teach. You will then be able to jumpstart your at-home practice because you will know what it means to truly feel restored and rejuvenated as well as the steps to take to recreate it at home.

The next Indigo Meditation Retreat is at Summer Lake Hot Springs, one of my favorite places to visit in southern Oregon. While meditation will nourish you from the inside out, the healing waters of Summer Lake Hot Springs will refresh you from the outside in. This hidden gem is located in the Oregon Outback, just two hours southeast of Bend. It is an unique and tranquil healing retreat anchored by its ancient artesian hot springs, unique modern rustic style casitas, as well as 360 degree views of desert, forest and sky.

Contact myself or Oriona with any questions you have about meditation or the upcoming retreat.
