Harmonizing Your Space

An important facet in identifying your best path in life is your birth number, or Ming Gua, which reflects your personality and what energies best serve you. We take your Ming Gua and other energetic factors, such as the locations of the flying stars in your house, to identify your unique qualities.

Other factors to consider include the Twelve Chinese Zodiac Animals, as well as the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water), which help identify how to best use areas in your house and create a more harmonious relationship between you and your home.

The Risk of Stagnation

If areas of your house are cluttered or underutilized, it can stifle the available energy, leading to stagnation in your life’s energy. This can manifest as:

  • Strife between loved ones or coworkers
  • Poor health
  • Less than ideal project outcomes
  • Unexpected events leading to loss of income or damage

Jenny can help you overcome these spiritual and physical blocks so you feel energized and ready to step out into the world every day.

Jenny also offers home visits for those who would like further insight into the birth chart of your home or workspace, and how that energy interacts with you and your family. Feng shui can help you decide how best to utilize your spaces using color, furniture, plants, and personal touches to unlock the full potential of your space and your energy.

Understanding the I Ching: The Book of Changes

The I Ching, also known as the Book of Changes, is one of the oldest and most revered texts in Chinese philosophy and culture. Rooted in the principles of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements, the I Ching serves as a guide for understanding the dynamic nature of life and the universe. It offers profound insights into the processes of change, decision-making, and personal growth. It uses the ancient text, the Tao De Ching, to help understand what’s next, and what path you can take now to give you the best outcome for your future.

Historical Background

The origins of the I Ching date back over 3,000 years. Traditionally attributed to the legendary sage Fu Xi, the text has evolved through the contributions of various scholars and philosophers, including Confucius. It is not merely a book of divination; it is a philosophical treatise that explores the nature of reality, human behavior, and the interconnectedness of all things.

Structure of the I Ching

The I Ching consists of 64 hexagrams, each made up of six lines that can be either broken (Yin) or unbroken (Yang). These hexagrams represent different states of being and the various transformations that occur in life.

  • Hexagrams: Each hexagram symbolizes a specific situation or dynamic, providing insights into the forces at play.
  • Yin and Yang: The interplay between these two forces illustrates the balance and duality present in all aspects of life.
  • The Five Elements: The I Ching also incorporates the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water), which further enrich the interpretations of the hexagrams and their meanings.

How to Use the I Ching

The I Ching can be consulted for guidance in various aspects of life, including relationships, career decisions, and personal challenges. The process typically involves:

  1. Formulate a Question: Clearly define the issue or situation you seek guidance on.
  2. Cast the Hexagram: Traditionally, this is done using yarrow sticks or coins to generate a hexagram.

Understanding Bazi: The Four Pillars of Destiny

Bazi, also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a profound system rooted in Chinese metaphysics that provides insights into an individual’s personality, life path, and destiny. This ancient practice is based on the Chinese lunar calendar and involves the analysis of the year, month, day, and hour of a person’s birth, represented by a combination of heavenly stems and earthly branches.

The Components of Bazi

Bazi consists of eight characters derived from the combination of the five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) and the Yin-Yang duality.

  • Heavenly Stems: There are ten heavenly stems, which represent the Yang and Yin aspects of the five elements.
  • Earthly Branches: There are twelve earthly branches, each linked to an animal in the Chinese zodiac.
  • The Four Pillars: The combination of the heavenly stems and earthly branches forms the Four Pillars: Year, Month, Day, and Hour. Each pillar provides insights into different aspects of life, such as family background, career, relationships, and personal development.

How Bazi Works

Bazi analysis involves interpreting the interactions between the elements in a person’s chart. The balance or imbalance of these elements can reveal strengths, weaknesses, and potential challenges.

  • Elemental Balance: A well-balanced Bazi chart indicates harmony and ease in life.
  • Interactions: The relationships between the elements can indicate compatibility with others, career paths, and health tendencies.
  • Timing: Bazi also considers the concept of luck cycles, which are periods in life when certain elements are more favorable, guiding individuals on when to take action or make significant decisions.

Applications of Bazi

Bazi is used for various purposes, including:

  • Personal Development: Understanding one’s strengths and weaknesses can lead to better self-awareness.
  • Career Guidance: Bazi can help individuals identify suitable career paths that align with their natural talents.
  • Relationship Compatibility: Analyzing Bazi charts can provide insights into compatibility with partners, family members, and friends.
  • Health Insights: Bazi can reveal potential health tendencies, allowing individuals to take proactive measures for their well-being.

Bazi is a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth. By understanding the intricate relationships between the elements in one’s chart, individuals can gain valuable insights into their destiny and make informed decisions.

For those interested in exploring their Bazi chart, consulting with our practitioner Jenny Moore can provide personalized insights and recommendations tailored to individual needs. Embrace the wisdom of Bazi and unlock the potential within you!
